Donation

Announcement

 At Vestry a motion was passed to pause the acceptance of all donations to the Scholarship Fund for the 2024 year.  We are currently revisiting the process and purpose of the Fund.  A special committee has been formed to address this matter.  In the meantime, please do not designate any donations to the Scholarship Fund in 2024.  Thank you for your understanding.

We are grateful for your support of the ministries of St. Paul's.

There are several ways you can donate:

Church Donations

  1. Through Pre-authorized (PAR) giving

  2. Through e-transfers with your online banking financial institution

  3. Through cheque and cash donations during Sunday worship as long as your full name and address are on the donation. Please feel free to use the donation envelopes in the pews or church lobby 

 

How to sign up for Pre-authorized giving (PAR):

  1. Click here to get the PAR form.  Print and fill out.

  2. PAR donations are taken out around the 20th of each month and we need 10 days to set up or make changes

  3. Please remember to attach a voided cheque with your application and together they could both be left in the office or emailed to cassiew@stpaulsonthehill.com 

 

 

 

 

How to e-Transfer funds to St. Paul’s on-the-Hill:

  1. Go to your online banking financial institution

  2. Create a new Recipient name of - SPOTH Interac e-Transfer

  3. Recipient email address:                                                       e-donations@stpaulsonthehill.com

  4. Click on "make donation"

  5. Security Answer : donation (you must use this answer so we know how to process your payment)

  6. Please add a message: Your name, address  (very important for tax receipt purposes).

Food Bank Donations

Funds designated for the "Christmas Hamper" program are to go through the Food Bank.

​

Food Donations:

As there is limited access to the church during this COVID time, the Food Bank has requested that donations not to be left at the church. They do not have anyone to pick it up.

 

Here are the options:

  1. Small donations of 2-3 bags can be dropped off in the bins of the supporting grocery stores.  Loblaws (Pickering) Metro, Allan's, Freshco, Food Basic and No Frills, Sobeys in Ajax (both stores)

  2. Arrange an appointment to drop off at the Food Bank site any Tuesday or Friday morning 9 to noon by calling 905-839-9537

  3. Larger donations please make an appointment with us by contacting us to arrange a time; foodbank@stpaulsonthehill.com
