The past few years
we have sent out teams to different countries including Mexico, Guatemala
and Belize. Members of our congregation have also been members of mission
teams from other churches assisting with projects in Kenya, Honduras,
etc. The ministry in these countries has varied depending on the local
needs. It has included: running a vacation Bible Camp for local children,
renovating orphanages, building school facilities, constructing homes
for families in need, distributing food to sponsored families, delivering
medicines to local clinics, preaching, prayer ministry, etc. The mission
trips have been an opportunity for us to share with some of the poorest
people in the world. It has also been a time when the Lord has worked
in our hearts to teach us compassion, caring, service and to challenge
our priorities. It has been a delight to worship with local Christians
and to learn from them. These trips have been times of spiritual and personal
growth!
Short-term mission
opportunities are currently being finalized and will be posted in the
late fall. Don’t forget to come back and see what exciting things
are planned for the 2005 year.

Short
term mission teams are regularly going out from St. Paul's.
If
you have any questions please ask around after a service and you are
sure to find someone who has been on a trip.
