| In addition to supporting missionaries outside Canada, the congregation of St. Paul’s is blessed to be able to support a number of local missions throughout Pickering/Ajax and the Greater Toronto Area. | |
| Ajax, Pickering Food Bank | St. Paul’s Food Bank provides assistance to those in need throughout Pickering and Ajax. Last year over 2000 boxes of food were distributed by a small army of volunteers. This is a cooperative effort with local churches and service groups. Additional volunteers are always appreciated during the special food drives at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Contact the church office at 905 839-7909 to get in touch with the current Food Bank coordinator. |
| Christmas Day Food Hampers | In December of each year, 150+ food hampers containing a Christmas Day meal are distributed to local families (along with knitted items & a turkey). The turkeys are provided by the optimists Club and many of the hampers are provided by local schools. Contact the church office at 905 839-7909 to get in touch with the current coordinator of this out-reach program. |
| Faithworks | A charity administered by the Anglican Church of Canada that assists missions in the inner city, the far north and around the world. |
| Christmas Shoeboxes | In November of each year, approximately 300 shoeboxes are filled with small gifts and shipped to children around the world through the Samaritan Purse. |
| Backpacks for the Homeless | Around Thanksgiving, the congregation of St. Paul’s puts together backpacks for the homeless. The backpacks contain basis supplies like socks, gloves, scarves, hygienic supplies, etc. Backpacks are distributed by the “Followers Mission:” located in downtown Toronto. Members of our worship team leads worship some Sundays at the mission, and various people help with the serving of meals. |
| Easter Baskets | Each year 100+ Easter baskets are put together containing candies and small gifts for the children supported by the Pickering/Ajax Food Bank. |

We engage in and support numerous local mission and hardship relief organisations. Check the bulletin board in the church lobby for upto date activities.
